Charity Hodges – Miss Pacific Beach 2012

Last Wednesday the very first Miss Pacific Beach was crowned at PB Bar & Grill. Out of 24 contestants, the field was narrowed down to just one as Charity Hodges took the grand prize and was crowned Miss Pacific Beach. Tiffany Keller came in second place and Rachel Swanson took third. Before the contest, the crowd had the chance to meet each contestant individually, as they mingled in the crowd wearing evening dresses.

The event was the first of its kind and due to its success is now scheduled as an annual event. The PB Reality Show asked their Facebook fans to help with the judging by “liking” each contestant they wanted to cast a vote for. The Facebook votes were then given to the judging panel last Wednesday night during the final rounds to be taken into consideration.

The event was a huge success, the crowd was at capacity and everyone had a great time. The screaming crowd was lead by the MC of the night, Marty Lubin. In between judging rounds, the PB reality staff held give-a-ways, in which various items disappeared into a sea of people.

Right before the winner was announced and Charity Hodges was crowned, a $3,000.00 donation was presented to PhotoCharity.org. PhotoCharity.org is a non-profit organization which helps the homeless teens of San Diego. One of the first duties for Charity, as Miss Pacific Beach, will be to attend a Photo Charity walk which will help raise money for San Diego’s homeless youth.
